Oxford - Taplow Pickup Goods
Note: You are driving the Oxford to Taplow (Up) Pickup Goods from Oxford as far as Princes Risborough where you change locos with the Taplow to Oxford (Down) service and return to Oxford. You then both get to sleep in your own beds tonight.
The Down service left Taplow with a brake van and collected empty coal wagons from yards along the Maidenhead-Wycombe Branch, leaving these at Princes Risborough and then waited there with its brakevan ready to exchange locos with the Up service from Oxford.
The Up service, from Oxford, dropped off goods wagons and shunted wagons for later collection at yards along the Thame branch and usually arrived with brakevan only at Princes Risborough. Here the two crews swopped footplates with the Oxford crew returned there and collected the previously sorted out wagons along the way.
The Taplow crew, now with the Up service, collected loaded coal wagons from Risborough's north siding and distributed them along the Maidenhead branch on their way back to Taplow.
